Hollywood star Rachel McAdams


Rachel Anne McAdams (born November 17, 1978) is a Canadian actress. After graduating from a four-year theatre program at York University in 2001, McAdams initially worked in Canadian television and film productions such as My Name is TaninoPerfect Pie (for which she received aGenie Award nomination) and Slings and Arrows (for which she won a Gemini Award). Her first Hollywood movie was the 2002 comedy The Hot Chick. McAdams found fame in 2004 with starring roles in the teen comedy Mean Girls and the romantic drama The Notebook. In 2005, she appeared in the romantic comedy Wedding Crashers, the psychological thriller Red Eye and the family drama The Family Stone. She was hailed by the media as "the next Julia Roberts"[1][2] and received a BAFTA nomination for Best Rising Star.


However, McAdams withdrew from public life in 2006 and 2007. During this time, she turned down leading roles in high-profile films such as The Devil Wears Prada. She made a low-key return to work in 2008, starring in two limited release films: the film noir Married Life and the road trip movie The Lucky Ones. She returned to prominence in 2009 with appearances in the political thriller State of Play, the science-fiction romance The Time Traveler's Wife and the action-adventure film Sherlock Holmes. McAdams's first star vehicle was the 2010 comedyMorning Glory. In 2011, she starred in Woody Allen's romantic comedy Midnight in Paris and made a cameo appearance in the action-adventure sequel Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. McAdams co-starred in 2012's romantic drama The Vow, and will next appear in both an as-yet-untitled Terrence Malick film and Brian De Palma's Passion.


McAdams lives in the Harbord Village neighborhood of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She has dated both Ryan Gosling and Josh Lucas, and is in a relationship with Michael Sheen. She is an environmentalist.

Scarlett Johansson (born November 22, 1984) is an American actress, model and singer.


Johansson made her film debut in North (1994) and was later nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead for her performance in Manny & Lo (1996). She rose to further prominence with her roles in The Horse Whisperer (1998) and Ghost World (2001). She transitioned to adult roles with her performances in Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003) and Sofia Coppola's Lost in Translation (2003), for which she won a BAFTA award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. Both films earned her Golden Globe Award nominations.


A role in A Love Song for Bobby Long (2004) earned Johannson a third Golden Globe for Best Actress nomination. Johansson garnered another Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress with her role in Woody Allen's Match Point (2005). She went on to star in two further Allen movies: Scoop (2006) and Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). Johansson has appeared in other successful films, such as Christopher Nolan's The Prestige (2006) and the summer blockbuster Iron Man 2 (2010)


The 2010 Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's A View From the Bridge gave Johannson some of her best reviews for her acting, and she received a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play. On May 20, 2008, Johansson debuted as a vocalist on her first album, Anywhere I Lay My Head, which comprises mostly cover versions of Tom Waits songs. Her second album, Break Up, with Pete Yorn, was released in September 2009.


Johansson has been selected for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2012.

Hudgens was born in Salinas, California, and has lived with her parents throughout the West Coast from Oregon to Southern California. Her mother Gina (née Guangco), held a succession of office jobs, and her father Gregory Hudgens was a firefighter. She has a younger sister, Stella Hudgens, who is also an actress. She was raised as a Roman Catholic Hudgens is of mixed cultural background, as her father is of Irish and Native American descent, and her mother, a native of Manila Philippines, is of Chinese-Filipino-Spanish descent. All of her grandparents were musicians.


Starting at the age of eight, Hudgens performed in musical theater as a singer, and appeared in local productions of CarouselThe Wizard of OzThe King and IThe Music Man, and Cinderella, among others. Two years after her career in stage plays and musicals, she started auditioning for commercials and television shows, and her family moved to Los Angeles after she won a role in a television commercial. Her acting career started at the age of 15, and she briefly attended Orange County High School of the Arts, followed by homeschooling with tutors.

Vanessa Anne Hudgens[2] (born December 14, 1988)[3] is an American actress and singer, who is best known for her portrayal of the character Gabriella Montez in the High School Musical series.[4] She also earned critical acclaim for her role in the2009 film Bandslam.[5]

Hudgens' fame has also been marked by scandal caused by the release of private, self-taken nude photographs on the Internet without her permission.
